I've heard that some programs can calculate gross-ups
as many as ten different ways. How many ways can Tally-Up! calculate
gross-ups?
How long have you been in business?
We formed HR Solutions, Inc. in February, 1991, but we have
been creating relocation tracking programs since 1985. To date, our
product has tracked relocation information for more than four
million transferees.
What support do you provide?
We provide free programming support (bug fixes and updates)
ourselves. We also answer questions about how to use the many
Tally-Up! features and options.
We answer all calls ourselves. No phone menus,
and rarely a voice mail. Not only do we support our customers,
we learn from them. In 2005, we made more than 30 mid-year
enhancements to the program based on customer needs. We asked
our customers about their wishes for the system, and added many
new features in Tally-Up!.
We stay connected with our customers until their
problem is resolved. We have been known to stay on the phone
for hours while a network glitch was diagnosed and resolved.
Many times our customers have expressed their
surprise about how responsive we are to their needs. Our
success depends entirely on your satisfaction. If you have a
problem, we have a problem, even if it's not our fault.
We never charge for this support. Never.
In addition to technical support, our partner, Art Crystal of
A Crystal Solution
provides free telephone relocation tax law help and advice for
Tally-Up! customers. His organization also provides on-site
consultation and training for a very reasonable fee.
Do you provide training?
We provide "how to" training through our telephone
support. We have spent hours with customers (especially new
customers) "walking through" our program. We love helping users
achieve their goals.
In addition, our partner, Art Crystal of
A Crystal Solution offers full, on-site training classes.
Do you do data entry for your clients?
No, but we know some good people who do, and will gladly recommend
them.
Does Tally-Up! adhere to the current federal tax
laws?
Yes. And if the tax laws change throughout the
year, we provide an automatic update to keep you
current.
Will we get state tax updates throughout the year?
Yes. Absolutely. Automatically. Immediately.
Never a charge.
How about interfaces between Tally-Up! and our
payroll systems?
We provide a free utility to import data into the Tally-Up!
database. Further, Tally-Up! has the ability to export data
for import into your systems without special programming.
What do you charge?
Tally-Up! transferee licenses are priced at $40.00 each. Unused licenses will be honored in the future.
This price is guaranteed not to change through 2008!
How much for the Tally-Up! program itself?
There is no charge for the Tally-Up! software. You pay only for the
transferee licenses.
How can I get Tally-Up!?
The easiest way is to call, however, you have a number of
options. Click here
to learn more about ordering.
Can we get Tally-Up! from any
other source?
Absolutely not. HR Solutions is the sole source for
Tally-Up!.
I've heard that some programs can
calculate gross-ups as many as ten different ways. How many ways can
Tally-Up! calculate gross-ups?
Gross-up calculations in Tally-Up! are determined by your Tally-Up!
Company Options. There are 13 options in Tally-Up! that produce more
than 200,000 gross-up methodologies. Over 90 percent of our users
use the default settings, but there is virtually no limit to the
control you have over gross-up calculation.
